Seasons greetings and thank you
A lot has changed in 2020 and this year the Christmas season has been different for a lot of people, just like everything else.
I read somewhere that this Christmas, celebrating family, generosity, and being grateful for what we have is more meaningful than ever before and I think that idea is very true.
This year we have all faced unforeseen challenges, seen devastating bushfires, been socially distanced, missed family, lost loved ones, and been tested on many levels.
But – we have also seen some of the best of our community through amazing acts of kindness, couch choirs, record breaking world-wide fundraising and outstanding creativity.
I am grateful for the amazing community spirit and the ingenuity of people who have thought outside the box to spread joy and bring everyone together – even though we may be physically apart this year.
It has also been wonderful to see first hand the support that people have provided to the arts during this time.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has made the conscious decision to shop small and continued to support our home grown makers and creators. Without you, the world could be a very grey and dull place.
So thank you to all my followers, friends and family who have supported me and Garden Gate Studio – you help keep the world colourful and bright.
