City+Sticks pop-up shop launching this week
Local Southern Highlands artist Elizabeth Burton has announced that her work will be available for purchase when the highly anticipated City+Sticks pop-up shop launches this week.
Ms Burton said she would be joining local makers and creators from across the Southern Highlands region in supplying goods to the shop.
“It’s a fantastic idea and I’d like to thank City+Sticks for asking me to take part.”
“A curated selection of my original oils, etchings, lithographs and mixed media paintings will be stocked at the pop-up, as well as a limited number of my handmade jewellery, printed cards and 2021 calendars.”
In addition to Ms Burton’s work, the pop-up will stock a range of goods (and original Christmas gift ideas) from bespoke cocktail boxes and tasty treats, to designer clothing, pottery, candles, pot plants and more.
Ms Burton said the pop-up was an excellent opportunity for Southern Highlands locals and visitors to shop small this Christmas.
“Jodie and James, the team behind City+Sticks are doing something magical this year - bringing together our local community, just in time for Christmas.
“The City+Sticks pop-up is a great opportunity for shoppers to support our small businesses, many of whom have been hit hard this year with the bushfires and COVID-19.”
“The shop has been carefully curated to include beautiful and practical gifts ideal for every member of the family.”
City+Sticks will pop-up in Springett’s Arcade in Bowral, NSW from 18 November, bringing together work from more than 50 local makers, artists and artisans.
